It is no longer sufficient to think, analyze, and discuss the philosophies of transformation. It is now the moment of change.

"All well and good," you reply, "but how is this to be done?"

The answer must come - moment by moment. Each one of you is a pure and shining conduit through which Divine power touches the planet Earth and all of its strivings and sufferings. In order to fully honor this holy mission, you must bathe your intent in the moment-by-moment awareness of your humanness. "What is holding me back?" you must ask, "what is fear telling me now? Where am I betraying my own deep knowing?" Again, these cannot be simply casual questions, but are the imperatives of these times.

So we offer you these monthly tools, not to be considered just an interesting subject of conversation, but a timely and extremely useful means by which the Light, which is your true self, can finally be transmitted to the darkness of forgetting which, indeed, is the cause of the suffering of your world. Use these assignments well, with our blessings.

2000 Workshops:

Be the LightJanuary

The past is forever vanished, almost as though it had never existed, and all of those moments of despair that you thought would never pass and all the moments of joy you had attempted to keep forever have become a memory. But what is that? It is a place in the mind, and often in the heart, where treasures are stored for safe keeping. "But, you say, "Why would I want to hold to the sadness and pain and suffering? Why not just the joy?"

Exactly! You seek to find identity within the framework of the human being and it has become an endless pursuit. This is not because you don't exist, but because you exist so far beyond the intellect's comprehension that there is a constant need to reassure the mind that you do, indeed, fit the pattern of familiarity. The Truth of you, the vaster You, exists through Eternity. There is no question there. But as the human self attempts to keep the illusion alive, it must constantly feed the insatiable questionings of fear.

Homework #13
The assignment is to align yourself with the greatness of your true Being, to dare to remember, to be willing to walk with intellect's discontent. You are not your history nor are you your limited and confined fears and questionings. Therefore, whenever limitation enters, take a moment to permit the greater knowing. How? Why, by inviting it in, by knowing that beyond the human self there exists a vastness that cannot be acknowledged by mind, but only by heart. Dare to live this life in such truth and freedom.

Stop and make the conscious choice to simply be the Light. It is within your power and your promise to do so.

Make Room for MiraclesFebruary

Here is the monthly assignment to which you are most urgently invited.

Fear has allowed such a narrow arena for self-identity that, adhering to that close definition, you find yourselves hopelessly imprisoned. Fear makes no room for miracles and yet the time of miracles is upon you if only you will allow them.

Homework #14
Assignment: Each hour of each day, courageously invite in the limitless power of love.... expect the miracle... but do not define it. Just invite it and observe.

Not KnowingMarch

For this entire and most reportedly unpredictable month, begin each morning with the firm commitment to 'not knowing'. Even the most pragmatic of circumstances holds a vastness you have not yet begun to enjoy. Remove the limitation of belief that you have 'been there and have done that'. For the truth of the matter is, dear Ones, nothing stays the same for more than the instant of its creation.

Homework #15
To be more specific, begin with the conscious tasting of a glass of juice...or a piece of fruit. Ask what is the flavor and experience now - not simply the assumption that it will be the same as before. And from that modest beginning, greet yourself, your loved ones, acquaintances, and all that you meet with that same freshness of attention. Much will be gained from this.

Steps to Self RememberingApril

Let nothing stand in the way of your self renewal . By that I mean your self remembering. It all sounds so very simple, but those of you who have attempted this have come to recognize the almost irresistible pull of habit.

Homework #16
Therefore, let us assign a composite of actions to help to free you to your Truth.

#1. Let there be times each day to stand in the center of Self. This can be done by consciously breathing in and following your breath to the "Yes" to life that waits at the apex. And to release all that has ever been with the exhalation.

#2. Set aside time each night to write yourself a letter of congratulations for all of the positive acts and thoughts you have had during the day.

#3. Read that letter to yourself in the morning before you arise from your bed. If done with loving consciousness, it will release you from the prison of your historic self.

Our Original KnowingMay

For this time, take the innate majesty of your True Being and let it rule your days. How? By being willing to step beyond the 'superstitious loyalty to old and crippling thought' and allow, if you will, the flowering of your original knowing and purpose.

Homework #17
Ask yourself, "If I truly am a Being of Eternal Light visiting this circumstance in the name of Perfect Love, what, then, will be my experience of this moment?" Inscribe the answer on the nearest piece of paper - to hold as reminder - and then watch the miracle unfold.

This Time of BrightnessJune

The sun is brighter in this monthly time than it will be again for another year. What does that mean to you?

Homework #18
Whatever thought or feeling arises from this question write it down. Please, do not edit - not for context nor 'common sense'. Simply allow the impressions to flow.

For your world is precisely designed to serve you, moment by moment, until the time of Transformation. Utilize it in that manner. I promise you deep and surprising insight.

Be PresentJuly

Homework #19
Become as constantly aware as you are able of your immediate circumstances - not of the surrounding environment, but of your own presence. No matter what is taking place, ask yourself, "Am I present?" And if not, bring yourself back with your next inhalation and simply Be in that particular moment in that particular place.

Forbid your mind to leap ahead or call up history for explanation and purpose. The place of peace and freedom rests within you. It is inviting you in.

Make this an hourly practice. It will benefit you greatly.

The Lens of NowSeptember

Homework #20
Rather than to live your life habitually, make each moment a promise to be as fully present as possible... and then to perceive the moment through the new and polished lens of 'now'. It will astound you.

The Practice of NowOctober

Homework #21
The practice of 'Now'. To become aware as often as possible what is your experience right in the present moment, untainted by memory or supposition. For if yesterday is not allowed to vanish, today has no chance of being birthed.

Invite the Newborn SelfDecember

Homework #22
Each time you pass a self-reflection, each time you touch an inner familiar opinion, become aware of the 'habit' of your response. Then consciously stop and invite the newborn self to the center of your awareness and watch the miracle of transformation occur.

Please make note: The next few months will not hold a new message. In that stead, consider rereading from the past - not as you were but as you are now. Extend the above homework through the winter months. An additional suggestion is that you write your own inspiration for the month and - again if you are so moved - share it with the Emmanuel online community.
