For those of you who have not been with Emmanuel, what you'll hear is my voice and his words. That's it. There are no theatrics or anything, just talking. I can get words to say, and if I open my mouth and close my eyes, I just say them and don't filter them. Remember when you were a little kid, (Emmanuel is telling me to say this.) When you were a child you talked to angels, you talked to spirit, and the reality is you did! And then when you grew up the world told you that you didn't. So channeling is cutting through the barriers of what the world tells us we are supposed to be, and how we are supposed to see the world. It's going back to the reality of who we are. (I just heard I am supposed to say that, so if that's a crazy explanation that's his fault). What I do is meditate, which is getting beyond your mind, getting quiet, then I move back a little and make room for Emmanuel, and he talks. I hear my voice talking, but I don't form the words. I started channeling Emmanuel thirty years ago. I was a single parent with three kids, a secretary. One of my friends in the office got murdered. and I began to have strange feelings of her being around me. I even felt her sit next to me. Friends suggested that I go to a psychic and reluctantly I did. The first thing she told me was that I was a "medium." She told me to go and do TM, Transcendental Meditation, which I did for two years. I also went into therapy. After more than a year, I began to see a shining light in my inner vision, sometimes on the right, sometimes on the left. Then one day it was directly in front of me. I sensed a being. I asked for a name, and heard , "Emmanuel." I then asked, "Will you be with me?" And he said, "Yes." I started to do private readings, and sometimes I used to take things home from people at work and come back the next day and tell them insights and messages that I received. Eventually I just did readings. One day Emmanuel said, "I will show you my world." Then I started doing workshops. I asked Emanuel would he be there for me with all those people coming to listen? He told me that it is we humans that go in and out of his reality. He is always there. Spirit is perfect Love. It's been a wonderful adventure and I feel very blessed. When I am channeling, I do not remember what I say, because the recording part of my head has to get out of the way. So afterward I won't remember, but while it's happening I can hear my voice. It's very comfortable, but when your mind thinks about it, it can sound crazy. It isn't. It's a very natural thing and you all have done it when the phone rings and you know who's on the other end. I also want to explain that when I say, "Emmanuel is saying," it isn't that I've heard it already, it's that I know he wants to say something. You know how it is when you are in a room and your back is to the door, and you just know when someone has walked in. Well, it's that feeling. He doesn't announce, "I want to say something." I just get a sense of it, the feeling of his presence. What you hear is my voice and his words. Channeling is not a special thing is what I want to tell you. This communication is a very natural experience that everybody has. We just don't name it that. Everybody talks to angels. They do. I want you all please to know that and be comfortable with it. If we did not walk with angels, if we did not get guidance in this world, I really believe we would not make it through one day. So we all listen at some level, whether it is a conscious one or subconscious one. People have asked him, "Who are you, Emmanuel?" And he has answered, "I am you without your fear." |
